Fall in Love with Valencia
I’ve been to Valencia in the autumn of 2024, pretty late time of the year. We’ve only spend there a week and I feel as if I should stay at least 10 days. I never understood why some people that I personally know would stay a few months in Valencia every year. Little did I know, I fell in love with the city within a few seconds.
This package is unlike any other we offer—it’s entirely about you. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a foodie, a history nerd, or a nature lover, this is your chance to tell us exactly what you consider as the perfect Valencian experience. Either choose from our activities or just use them as the inspiration to get your own ideas, and we’ll make it happen. This package was created with the help of expert in accessibility of Valencia, Mr. Johan de Smedt (Check out the accessible tours here: https://accessiblevalencia.es/ ).
Must see in Valencia
The city of Arts and Sciences of Valencia
If you can spare a day just for The city of Arts and Sciences, I would strongly suggest you do so. Here you have six major elements and each of them deserves a dedicated time to explore it. You will find the Hemisferic, the Umbracle, the Museu de les Ciencies, the Oceanografic Aquarium, the Palau de les Arts and the Agora. It is really beautifully designed, you can enjoy just strolling past it, or plan a visit to some of these buildings. For me, the sunset visit was definitely a big win of the day.
My recommendation? Don’t miss out on the visit to the Oceanografic Aquarium. It is fully wheelchair accessible with the ramps and wheelchair accessible toilets.
The Valencia Cathedral
Next on your Must-see list should be the Valencia Cathedral. It is in the old town and it is looking magnificent (or Gothic, if you want to be more correct). You will also find the Baroque and Romanesque architecture details, as the building of the cathedral was going on from the 13th to 17th century.
The Central Market
Most famous market in Valencia and definitely something you just have to experience. Here you can find everything, from fresh fruits, olives, nuts, cheeses, to wines and probably some very good gifts for your beloved ones. It is inside, so you can plan a visit even in very hot or rainy weather conditions.
Beach life? Enourmous.
You have 3 accessible beaches in Valencia with the Bathing assistance program. Valencia is known for its long, stunning sandy beaches, high palm trees and everything perfect for just enjoying. You have Cabanyal beach, Malvarrosa beach and Pinedo beach. I’ve been staying on the Malvarrosa beach most of the time, as you can find a pretty good choice of restaurants and bars on the beach. There is a small market of souvenirs, paintings and if you are lucky there are also local people who will make you braids on your hair.
Our special offers
As I mentioned in the beginning, this package is different than our other packages. You have possibility to choose a lot of guided activities. I found Valencia to be a beautiful place, you can still enjoy it by yourself with our self-guided recommendations, but as it is quite a big city, I feel someone might get the better feeling of local experience if you have the possibility to book private tours.
